Each One Reach One

Overview

The UCATS Each One Reach One New Member Referral Program is the UC Athletics initiative to broaden the UCATS membership base and increase the level of support for Bearcat student-athletes. This program empowers current members with the framework to recruit and refer prospects to UCATS and ultimately receive rewards for the referral of new members. You can make a difference by referring new season ticketholders to football, men's basketball, or encouraging fellow Bearcats supporters to join UCATS in support of Bearcats student-athletes.

Call to Action

In 2009, UCATS established a new record with over 4,500 memberships, representing 4,500 walking billboards for the UCATS mission. The personal testimony of current UCATS members is the most powerful recruiting tool when talking to prospective members. When talking to family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and fellow Bearcats supporters, we encourage members to share the many reasons to become more involved in Bearcats Athletics and ultimately join UCATS. UC Athletics would like to extend the personal challenge to each UCATS members to refer one new member to join UCATS. Can you imagine the impact that it would have for UC Athletics if each member were to refer just one new member? The Inaugural 2009 Each One Reach One program netted 207 new UCATS members. In the ambitious spirit of Bearcat Nation, the 2010 Each One Reach One Goal is 400 new UCATS members!

How It Works

For every new member that is referred, the existing member of record receives additional priority points. Priority point bonuses increase incrementally as additional members are referred. For example, the member of record receives ten (10) bonus points for the referral of one new member, fifteen (15) additional points for the referral of a second new member, twenty (20) additional points for the referral of a third new member, etc. There is no limit to the number of additional priority points that can be accrued in this manner. Priority points count towards your 2010-11 point total.

In addition to point bonuses, participants also receive exclusive gifts from UCATS based on your number of referrals. (See prize structure)

Finally, there are also grand prizes for the top Bearcat Ambassadors that refer the HIGHEST NUMBER OF NEW DONORS and the donor that GENERATES THE GREATEST DOLLAR VALUE IN NEW GIFTS.

Remember, any gift of $50 or greater qualifies prospects as a new UCATS member. There are many ways to encourage prospects to become UCATS members:

Instructions

New members are encouraged to join online using DonorNet. When establishing their DonorNet account they will be prompted to indicate the name of the referring member to ensure that the existing member of record receives credit. New members that would like to pay with a check can download, print, and complete (including referral information) a new member form (provided in the Each One Reach One Resource Center) and mail to the address provided. New members can also contact the UCATS office at 1-877-55-UCATS (513-556-4884) or the Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-CATSTIX (513-556-2287) to join by phone and indicate the referring member to a UC Athletics Representative.

Participating Member Rewards

For every new member that is referred, the existing member of record receives additional priority points. Priority point bonuses increase incrementally as additional members are referred.

Priority Point Bonus Scale

1 New Member - 10 points

2nd New Member - 15 Points (additional, total 25)

3rd New Member - 20 points (additional, total 45)

4th New Member - 25 points (additional, total 70)

5th New Member - 30 points (additional, total 100), etc.

Grand Prize: Most New Members

Grand Prize incentives will be rewarded based on the number of referrals submitted by October 29, 2010. This deadline allows UC Athletics to administer benefits during the 2010-11 competitive seasons for football and men's basketball.
