The countdown is on to another exciting season of University of Cincinnati Football. As we continue to make preparations for the upcoming season, UC Athletics wants to share some important information regarding your 2010 football season parking passes.
- You are encouraged to arrive on campus at least 90-minutes prior to each kickoff. With sellout crowds expected for each game you should expect that all roadways leading in to campus will experience some delays. The earlier that you arrive on campus, the easier your transition will be into Nippert Stadium. As always, we need you to "Come Early, Be Loud and Wear Black!" Remember, UC takes the field for the final time six (6) minutes prior to kickoff.
- There will be designated parking garages assigned to each pass ensuring that each patron will be guaranteed parking access to a particular garage. The assigned pass and parking garage will limit unnecessary traffic congestion.
- Cash only garages (Campus Green and Woodside garages) have been designated to better serve non-season pass holders on game day and to avoid game day sales in garages where season passes have been allocated.
- The Corry and Sander tailgating Lots (T1 and T2 passes) will NOT be available for the 2010 football season. Construction for the new Jefferson Avenue Sports Complex began in March, with phase 1 scheduled to be completed by September 2010. The UC Department of Athletics continues to work with the campus community to explore opportunities for alternative tailgating options. Additional information will be communicated if a suitable tailgating opportunity is identified as the season approaches.
- There will be a price break on the season pass versus day-of-game purchases. Season passes are priced at $42.00 for six (6)games (average of $7 per game) and game day parking rates are priced at $10.00. Season parking passes include the six (6) games played at Nippert Stadium, and does not include parking at Paul Brown Stadium for the Oklahoma game. Additional parking information will be forthcoming for the Oklahoma game once finalized.
- Season parking pass holders will have the ability to rank their parking garage preference. These requests will then be allocated based upon priority points, with members of the George D. Smith Society receiving first priority in parking requests.
- Multiple pass holders will have additional passes allocated by priority points after all initial orders have been solidified. Every attempt will be made to allocate multiple passes in the garage of first priority.
The 2010 Football Parking Map (below) provides an overview of parking options for the 2010 football season. We ask that you rank each of the garages in the order of your preference for allocation. By ranking a garage first you are indicating that it is the garage of greatest priority to you. All parking request forms must be returned to the UC Athletics Ticket Office by Monday, July 26th. At that time we will begin the allocation process based upon all requests received and priority point totals. If you should have any questions surrounding Bearcats Football parking please feel free to contact the UC Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-CATS-TIX.
As with past seasons, all UC home football game times are subject to change per the BIG EAST television contract with ESPN. Kickoff times will be announced on www.GoBEARCATS.com within a 6-12 day window prior to each home game. The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics has no control over these times, but will use all department-controlled media to spread the word of the finalized game times once they are set by the league office. Thanks for your cooperation in continuing to make Nippert Stadium one of the best home field advantages anywhere in the country. You do make a difference with your loud and enthusiastic support.
