The UCATS Priority Points System is designed to ensure proper consideration for UCATS members who have shown loyalty over the years, are giving of their time, and provide financial contributions for the betterment of our student-athletes. The purpose of the Priority Points System is to appropriately distribute benefits. It provides a framework for season ticket seat assignments, away-game allocation, parking, seat improvements and other special athletics events or activities.

Example:
Betty Bearcat has been a UCATS member for five consecutive years and has given $6,000 cumulatively in her lifetime. She earned her bachelor's degree from UC and is a former women's tennis student-athlete. For the current UCATS campaign, Betty has made an undesignated gift of $2,000 and she designated an additional $200 to the tennis program. Betty also gave $1,000 to the College of Engineering and served as a volunteer for the UCATS campaign where she successfully achieved 100% of her assigned goal. Finally, Betty made provisions in her estate to endow a scholarship for $100,000. Betty's point total is as follows:
