As we move forward it is vital that we establish a grassroots effort that reaches beyond our base of season ticket holders to provide the private support necessary to realize our expectations of conference and national championships in each of our 18 intercollegiate programs. If UC Athletics is to emerge as the "class of the Big East" then interested alumni and friends, along with the Cincinnati community, must respond to the challenge of creating a critical mass of stakeholders that wont be denied the success OUR school and OUR community rightfully deserve.
EXPECTATIONS
As the team behind the teams gets formulated, it is our intent to divide the labor across our valued volunteers in a manner that will strike the balance between leaning on you enough to instill a sense of ownership of the program while being respectful of your time and personal commitments.
We will strive to make your volunteer experience fun and rewarding. Beyond the intrinsic value of knowing that you will make a difference, volunteers will also receive priority points based upon productivity and goal achievement.
- All volunteers will be placed on teams and will be expected to work with other volunteer teammates to reach personal, team and organizational goals.
- Volunteers will be expected to manage and solicit a base of donors/prospects, selected from the targeted audience associated with the affinity team of which they are a member.
- This designated base of donors/prospects will ultimately turn into the volunteer's "book of business" as you will look to renew, engage and solicit these individuals for increased involvement with UCATS.
- The UCATS Office will assist with each volunteer's working knowledge of policies and procedures through collateral materials and organized volunteer training sessions.
- Volunteers will be asked to share progress, challenges and ideas with their team leader as we conduct ongoing reporting sessions and ongoing sharing of information.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The effort to grow UCATS base of support to meet and surpass our peers in the Big East cannot be the sole responsibility of UCATS staff and a limited number of UCATS board members. A challenge of this magnitude will require a grassroots undertaking with active participation from all those who value Bearcat athletics.
